Good grief, DBSK really is on their way to worldwide popularity. Everyone and their mom likes them now. Ah well. I think I'm falling out of the fandom :( Their soon to be released Japanese single has like 5 freakin' versions that features a solo song by each different member. WTH, okay. I am so not buying that single. I may buy the limited edition of their third album, though.

Managed to get Eunice to buy their "O" concert DVD while she was in Korea (YOU LOVELY PERSON <3) and hmm, it's o-kay, I think. I'm not a big fan of their Korean concerts. Songs, yes, I love their Korean songs, but their Korean concerts have long drawn out periods where they do nothing but sing ballads and it gets kind of boring. I very much prefer their Japanese concerts. (Why am I using the plural form? They've only had two tours in each country so far...)

Anyway. FITB > O hands down. Though the O packaging is pretty. Just like the Rising Sun packaging.

When will Super Junior get their own concert? I wonder how it'd go. I wonder if they'll re-choreograph the dances from their first album to include Kyuhyun. Not to forget re-assign the lines. Because the first album songs are nearly as much love as the second album songs.

Damn, I need to watch SJ's performance of Galjeung at the Golden Disk Awards before I leave for HK. REALLY. Galjeung is made of so much win. Oh, and Eunice also got me Super Junior's first album. YAY. Clear, non-fuzzy songs! The version of "Twins (Knock Out)" I had before had this weird buzzing that annoyed me to no end. The rest of the songs too. "Over" still cracks me up every time Eunhyuk starts off saying, "You and me girl, it's over. GO AWAY." XD

And OH MY GOD, Explorers of the Human Body episode five is so damn crackified, I demand that each and every one of you who read this go watch it even if you're not a SJ fan. REALLY. I MEAN, LAUGHING GAS? WAYS TO STOP LAUGHING? OH MY GOODNESS, THE LAUGHING GAS WAS LIKE ROFLMAO. And Eunhyuk has such a girly laugh. And Kibum totally got pwned by the laughing gas, HAH. Parts one, two, and three are subbed in Chinese on Tudou.com. Ahh, I love this show.

But alas, I have strayed from the initial point I was making. DBSK is getting so popular it's so... weird. I don't know. Whatever. I'm thinking too much. I need to go decide on which student dormitory I'm going to choose for next year. Ahhhh. Sleep soon. HK soon.

Back from Vietnam, tired but very satisfied with how the trip went and I'm ready to start packing for Hong Kong. Lots to blog about but the one thing that's on my mind right now is that I GOT ACCEPTED.

LMAO I did a mad jig around the courtyard of the hotel in HCM when I found out. Now I'm happy, but also sort of... sad? I guess. I don't know. All I'm going to do for now is enjoy the rest of my holidays.

Ahh flying of to Vietnam today, have to call a cab soon. And I have a sore throat courtesy of Hokkaido Ice Cream milk chocolate flavour.

Watched Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium last night with Puff, some gala premier event by Great Eastern. It was a rather short movie but it was good! Not the ZOMG-NEED-TO-WATCH-50-TIMES kind of good but the kind of I-WANT-THE-DVD kind of good. Um. Okay wait that doesn't make much sense. ANYWAY!

Am missing the IP gathering on 10th December :( Isn't there a YPPAE barbeque that day, too? Darn, I want to go! But I'll be in Vietnam under the sun. That reminds me, I haven't packed insect repellent yet...

Thank goodness for international roaming enabled, else I don't think I'd survive in Vietnam. I think. Okay I don't know I'm tired, I haven't slept much and I need to pack and DAMN YOU SORE THROAT, GO AWAY!

At Changi Airport now! Good grief the keyboards are a nightmare to use. Anyway. I've put my phone on international roaming, not sure if it'll work yet but I'll try messaging when I get to Tokyo.

Ah, rather exciting. Never seen so many students at the airport at the same time before. The teachers were commenting on the clothing more than us students.

Am crying. Am crying quite badly but not the full out bawling that's rather exaggerated but argh, reading Mr Sim's Letter just made me grin then tear then sniff then cry then grin then argh.

It's over it's over it's OVER. ALL FOUR YEARS OF IT. All the fun we had running around like headless chickens in a kampung, all the mad things we did in IP1, switching classrooms on April Fools' Day, the IP adventure camp, mad Chinese lessons, bio skits, MI skits, laughing at our crazy maths teachers' quirks, staying up until 4am working on hideous essays and projects and assignments and studying (or not) for assessment week, enrichment week madness and that crazy trip to the beach with a kite-flying competition that Tinho won, Japan trip with shared baths and bunk beds, IP photo taking days, then moving onto IP3 and IP4 where we split into our combis but stuck together anyway and started hanging out with people we've never talked to before, and the random "can you imagine, one more year until we leave NJC" comment that HAS NOW COME TRUE.

WE'RE LEAVING, WE'RE LEAVING, IT'S ENDED, and shit I can't stop crying.

Four years of IP, four years spent in a school with leaky roofs and a freezing library, two years in self-designed classrooms, two years moving around classrooms. Every year it's come closer but it was always too far away for us to notice besides joking around about wearing the same uniform for four years, and finally, like the human tetris game, it's upon us.

I don't know what else to write except that I'm very, VERY incoherent now and I think I'm going to go back and read the letter again and cry again but then I'm crying now and... on one of those long and lonely nights slogging over essays, I may have thought along the lines of "OMG I can't wait for all this to be over" but now that is I don't, I don't want it to end, if only it could be the same every year, knowing that the first day of school will be with friends, at the benches around the pond, until the time comes for assembly. But that can't happen anymore.

IP gathering. Please. I don't know if it's possible since we're flying off everywhere for furthering our studies and the guys will be at NS and all of us will be scattered all over the globe, but years from now, I want to look back at all these fond memories with friends from IP by my side.

I love you, baby, and I'm never gonna stop. I'm proud to have traveled this path with everyone. Our paths may branch out, but may they cross again someday.

Finally stopped crying ugh. Still packing for Japan. Interview on the 29th alsdfkalsdfasld. Will be back on 3rd December at Grad Night, and I'll have my tissues ready for that night.

This morning, there was an article in the news about a NJC PE teacher, Mr Stephen Loh, who went missing in Cambodia after a dragon-boat accident. Apparently there was a whirlpool or something of the sort, and he and four other friends went missing.

My mom just e-mailed me to say that his body has been found.

I'm... stunned, to say the least. He's never taught me before, but I've seen him around, and to find out that something like this has happened to someone from my school, a teacher - it's... I really don't know what to say. Life is unpredictable, so treasure our every moment together.

May you rest in peace. I hope that you are in a better place.

Anyway, now that I'm done with my exams, I can focus on what's to come - Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and... INTERVIEW. (Oh my... I'm kind of nervous. And I don't know what to wear!)

Need to pack so badly. Went to collect my prom dress after my paper and I'm kind of addicted to it now <3 Then went for dinner with parents ("To celebrate you finishing 12 years of education!" "LMAO.") and bought some stuff to pack and here I am.

New layout~!

So, after around three hours of exploring and messing around with the new S2 style layout, I finally ended up with this layout :D Eunhyuk! Plus pink, not that I always associate him with pink, and not that he doesn't look good in pink, but okay whatever. I've never seen him in pink, anyway. Was there a pink version of their Miracle live performances? Gotta look for that one. <3

Anyway, I'm not too satisfied with the header, but I guess it's okay after not making anything bigger than a 100x100 LJ icon in Photoshop for a few months. It was also good to know that my CSS hasn't deproved much (or any? ._.) and I managed to do the coding reasonably fast.

I think I was trying to make this layout a sort of 'companion piece' to my meikyuuNU layout which is blue/gray and has got Donghae on it. Hehe.

WATCH ME CRY TEARS OF HAPPINESS OMGOMGOMGOMG. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Like SERIOUSLY OMG this song is SO MADE OF WIN AHHH. And ZOMG Eeteuk's hair during the thank-you speech when they won Artist of the Year award (OMFG YES) is PRETTEH. <3 And HAHAHA OMFG GACK PEFORMED AT MKMF?! Right! The second time I have an entry entitled "you know that you overstep the border!" Talk about being repetitive. Anyway, I only have one paper left (oh, YES. And those who have finished should keep quiet, okay. j/k) so I took yesterday and today off. Slept over at Puff's house and watched endless videos! And we attempted to learn the dance for Wonder Boy.

And I just ripped a few of the performances from the DBSK Rising Sun Live DVD. I feel incredibly lame now because I just ignored all else and skipped straight to Junsu's solo performance of "All Rise" by Blue, not because I wanted to see Junsu's solo - but because I wanted to hear Eunhyuk rap. Ah well. Now I'm going to search through the backstage clips to see where Eunhyuk pops up again. Ah, that part where Eunhyuk and Junsu high-five is awesome! They look like they're having so much fun <3

Now, I just need to buy DBSK's "O" Live DVD so that I can see Donghae performing with Yunho. Kind of weird, because Donghae is insanely cute and boyish off-screen, but in the lives he's just INCREDIBLE. I keep comparing the off-screen Donghae to the Donghae that raps in "Success" and "Spokesman", and I find it really different.

Anyhow, I managed to get the tailor to do my prom outfit! 'Outfit' is the word, 'dress' doesn't really fit it, I think? It's kind of... elaborate. Guh. But a proper THANK YOU SO MUCH! is in order, to _ephemeralstyle for going down with me to the tailor :D Hectic schedule, really. I leave on the 26th of November and return on the 3rd of December, and on both occasions I have to travel to and fro the airport myself... rather lonely. But it's the first step to independence, says the mom. Ah well.

Okay now I shall go back to unearthing that short few seconds where Eunhyuk appears in the backstage clips. (I can't get used to calling him Hyukjae, strangely, but the way he pronounces his name is adorable. Omg.)

P.S. After December, I am so getting a paid LJ account so I can play around with the coding and design. Then maybe I could attach it to my domain! Yey.

P.P.S. Just reorganized most of my stuff. Made a new LJ account purely for my fanart and stuff, so I'll be using that one for most fandom related communities. This one will be to keep in contact with all of you :D That leaves me with a Wordpress blog on my domain that I have no idea what to do with. And I just tweaked the layout, too, so that it has Donghae on it. Hmm. Must not let it go to waste...

The first anime bishounen I ever ~~worshipped~~ ~~loved~~ um. Liked. Granted I did print that picture of him in the Ura Buto Satsujin finals against Kai because OMG, I loved his outfit there. And then I framed it and put it on my bedside table. But I am not obsessed! No, I am hardly that. I'm quite normal, thank you. Yey.

So, happy birthday, Tokiya! Even though the Flame of Rekka series has long since ended, but you will live on in all your fangirls' hearts, including mine! For you the very first anime bishie I took a liking too! <3

*does a quick search of computer* DAMNIT I AM NOT USING THE COMPUTER NOW SO I HAVE NO PHOTOSHOP. SO I CANNOT MAKE PRETTY PHOTO-MANIPS/EDITS D: NEVERMIND. Tokiya alone is pretty enough.

YOU SEE? YOU SEE?! IT'S THEM EYES AGAIN! "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Then it's a pairing." FAUGH!

First it was Watanuki and Doumeki and the spider guys. One destroys the spider web, spider gets angry, inflicts PAIN upon Doumeki and he's like augh I cannot see wtf and Watanuki is all HERE HAVE MY EYE and Doumeki goes WTF YOU N00B I shall help you find another eye but it doesn't work out so in the end Doumeki says HERE HAVE HALF MY EYE.

Now it's Kurogane and Fai. I mean, so Fai lost an eye to clone!Syaoran and zomg it got ripped out and he nearly died and Kamui made him into a vampire and he has to drink Kuropipi's blood so yay he lives. IT'S THE EYE FETISH AGAIN, OKAY. Then Kuropipi loses an arm and they go to Nihon country and he gets this huge badass arm from Fuuma (I mean, what the HELL was Fuuma doing there anyway, okay I'm getting confused) and then Fai goes ah I shall pay Yuuko-san with my remaining magic! and so the magic from is other eye is gone and now Fai's eye is GOLDEN. No more pretty blue. WARGH. So he can still see, he still lives because of the vampire blood within him but no more magic and while I'm like 'whyyyyyy' over the loss of his magic, I'm also WTFing at the eye thing again.

AGAIN. IT'S THE EYE THING AGAIN. ARGHHHHHHHH.

At least Fai isn't gonna give up his life in exchange for anything anymore. Yay. Kuropipi and Fai can keep on traveling together! I think. Okay so I gave in to temptation and read scanslations online because I was tired of waiting for volume 18 to be released by Tong Li. Am currently WTFing at the happenings. How did that happen?! Did anyone else see that coming?! SDLFKJSLFJLSKDJFLSKDFA *SHOCK HORROR*

OKAY I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT THAT. Selim Bradley a flippin' Homonculus?! My impression of Hawkeye just rose thousand-fold. I've always seen her as a background character, despite the fact that she's constantly around to keep Roy in check.

The book about her past a few volumes back was really good, it brought her more into perspective and, IMO, gave her a real personality/character. I can't say "Oh, Hawkeye? Roy's helper person" or something like that because her part in the story is a lot bigger than just that now.

Okay I'm thinking back to the part where Selim/Pride confronted her and omg she's brave. HAWKEYE YOU HAVE MY RESPECT. :O Sigh sometimes it gets a bit confusing because the Homonculus in the anime and manga are different. Pride in the manga is Selim, while in the manga it's King Bradley. But in the manga, King Bradley is wrath and in the anime, it's that... kid who got Ed's arm. Sigh.

I am just waiting for the day Lan Fang (Lan Fa. Lan Fang. I'll go by the original Chinese name.) comes back and into the story. Because Ling can't remain as Greed, kplzthx. D: I miss Ling. I miss Ling/LanFang. D:

Holy-! The method Hawkeye used to inform Roy of Selim being Homonculus is AWESOME. And omg Olivier Armstrong is cool.

AND OMG, Hoenheim's past is finally being revealed! At first I'm like 'huh is that Ed except taller and without that antenna thing' but OMG IT'S HOENHEIM. And they reveal stuff about how the Homonculus first came about. I bet Father looks like Hoenheim because they share the same blood, or something like that.

... *reads* AHAH I KNEW IT. Except that it's not that they shared the same blood. Homonculus just used the souls they got in exchange to create a body for himself and he created it to look like Hoenheim and then he game Hoenheim immortality in exchange. Holy crap.

Ah, I had a dream involving Sungmin, Heechul, Donghae, Siwon, Eeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Hankyung last night. Life couldn't get better~ whoo!

Kyuhyun is so awesome. His footwork in the 6th of October 2007 Music Bank performance is amazing. Another one of those only-one-year-older-than-me singers... first Changmin, now Kyuhyun. Compare them to the seniors we know and it's an obvious 天壤之别。 And Heenim's costume in all their "Don't Don" lives is really cool - it's got the word '希' on the back in silver.

Looking at their trainee days, I realise Donghae really looked like Ryuichi from w-inds. Not so much now, but last time, yes. Got the shock of my life when I saw one photo and went "Hey, why is Yunho posing with Ryu- oh wait, that's Hae."

I managed to read Hankyung's cyworld! And I still can't get into Heechul's, I don't know why. Maybe I need an account? In any case, Hankyung's is easier to understand because it's in Chinese, and Heechul's is in Korean. Woe.

When will FMA 18 come out? Or is it out already? It's about the only manga I'm still following, after I lost interest in TeniPuri/Naruto/whatever. Gah, I need some recommendations. Jonathan said to watch Samurai 7, so I'll borrow that from him after the exams, and he said BLOOD+ is cool but I'm not one for that genre of anime so hmm. Chadin would probably be all "CARD CAPTOR SAKURA OKAYYY?" ;D j/k, Chadin. And Weishun would be like "CRUNCHY ROLL R0XX0RZZZZZ" and name all the anime that he watches that are rated NC-16 or something. Tsk.

Going to Puff's house later to study after tuition. And I'm still wondering about prom. めんどくせぇ...

The song itself isn't the best slow song I've heard from them - I mean, Heart, Mind and Soul just tops the list of my favourite ballads from them, and Love in the ice comes in a close second. Lovin' you, though utterly bittersweet and heartbreaking, is currently hovering somewhere near the middle, and Asu wa kuru kara is just slightly above it.

Forever Love would be around the same spot as Asu wa kuru kara, I suppose, because it's quite similar to it in terms of feel. Somewhat similar to Begin as well, just that they don't play up Jaejoong's voice quite as much this time. On the chorus, it was Jaejoong, Changmin, Junsu, and Jaejoong again, whereas Begin had Jaejoong singing every chorus.

Eh, yeah, so the song is average-like. It's pretty, that's for sure, but it's one of the slow songs that gives you the "ooohh, shiny~" impression at first but then it goes off your playlist after awhile, and only really gets back into the playlist after you see them perform it live or something. For me, at least. Compared to Heart, Mind and Soul or Love in the ice where I can just put them on repeat and sigh dramatically at the harmonization.

One thing, though: leader-sshi omg his voice has REALLY improved. I did think he was one of the weaker singers in DBSK (not saying that he's bad, just that in comparison to the rest he's got some work to do) despite his dancing being the best. But with this single release, heck, he's good. Not quite there yet, but the difference is clearly audible.

And Changmin's hair is adorable. <3333 Still don't like Jaejoong's hair, but I suppose it looks better in magazines.

But what is up with the video? I really don't like videos with random girls in them. Like the Lovin' you PV, I mean, it's okay to have a side story and everything, but that one was just plain weird. And the SHINE PV had some random girl in winter clothing walking around. And now THIS one has a random girl sitting around looking emo and whatever.

So the director decided to add in random dinosaur bones, too. And miniature figurines of ships and stuff. This entire video is so random. Oh, you get DBSK walking through a sandstorm-thing too! Like whoa.

And then at the part where you have the violinists playing behind them - okay I admit I have a liking for music with an orchestral feel so when that happened I was really happy - and THEN I realized that IT LOOKS LIKE A KINKI KIDS PV. What was it? Harmony of December and Velvet no Yami combined in one and voila, you get Forever Love!

... okay, what?

Well overall in comparison it's around the same standard as SHINE in terms of how much I like the PV. Of all their PVs, I really, REALLY like 1) "O" 2) Rising Sun 3) Choosey Lover. And so far the latest PVs are nowhere near those three. Lots of eye candy, yes, but there's only so much eye candy can do. And not to forget that I am a bigger fan of their dancing than of them standing around looking good (though it's a definite bonus). So... yup.

I must say I'm anticipating the B-side for this single more than the actual song. Because Harudal was oh-so-pretty in the Korean version and YESSS they're releasing it as the B-side! IMHO Harudal will pwn Forever Love hands down. But that's just me.

And I'm DEFINITELY anticipating Koda Kumi's Last Angel single more than Forever Love. Even though you don't hear the boys much, it's honestly a kickass song and DAMN I want to watch the video now.

Yay for rambling. I think I've gotten much more critical of DBSK. When will they get a rest? Shall await their 4th Korean album, lalala~

Ya Shim Man Man's October 15th episode made me a very happy fangirl because both Hankyung and Heechul were on the show and omfg Heechul is like pure crack HAHA Kang Ho Dong was like "nyehehe I'm gonna dig up all your rumours" and Heechul reverses the situation~

And watching Hankyung do traditional Chinese dance is so, SO wonderful.

Okay so yeah it's 10:06am on a Friday morning and surprising I'm not in school yet. Slept late last night, woke up late today and am still very sleepy, but at least I managed to work through my application forms and find out what I still need.

Icon-making frenzy has hit me real bad. Gonna work on my domain's layout soon. And the next chapter of Spiral -Alive- still isn't out. I'm resorting to re-reading the original series to relieve my boredom, but it's hard to do when you're reading it at 1am in the morning and the words are small and cluttered and talking about philosophy that's in Chinese.

DBSK Japanese solo songs - um. Changmin's one was mostly shouting? That boy has a wonderful voice and I'm sure the song would be absolutely awesome if it was a studio recording, but as it is, it isn't, and I think he had to strain his voice a lot. Junsu's was beautiful, but not outstanding. Same goes for Yoochun. And leader-sshi's song is all dance and when he goes sweet sexy whoa or something like that everyone goes ZOMG! but that's about it. D:

Therefore, I think that Jaejoong's Japanese solo is, without a doubt, my favourite of the DBSK solos. Although he gets a little out of breath towards the end, his voice is still spectacular. Oh, and then I realized why "MAZE" sounded so familiar. Or rather, it reminded me of another song. Lalala~ ex-Dream by Myuji, OP of the X anime. It's the overall feel, I suppose.

I can just imagine "MAZE" as the OP for an anime. It'd be real cool if that happened! It'd be interesting to see how the song can be done by the entire band, too, instead of a Jaejoong solo.

My random post of the day is done. Oh, and as I was listening to "19sai" by Suga Shikao just now, (after months of not listening to it) I suddenly recalled the PV for the song. It's like... *averts eyes* Okaaaay I kind of get the link between the video and the song but still alsfkalskdaf my eyes.

Oh and I am falling in love with Kyuhyun's voice. I can't stop listening to his solo part in "Don't Don". Same for Eunhyuk's and Heechul's rapping parts. And Kyuhyun in "She's gone" is FABULOUS OMG HIS VOICE. Hard to believe that he's just one year older than me D:

I just uploaded the Farewell Ceremony photos to my PC. I was using the Panasonic Lumix because the Canon TX1 wasn't charged and I didn't want to wake my parents up by going into their room to get the charger. One thing I like about the Lumix is that there's more detailed control over the colour. However, it's not really good in situations where you have to whip out the camera FAST - and then you find the colour settings remain at what you set indoors and you're now outdoors and oh no photo taking session is over!

The TX1 adjusts the colour settings automatically so it's ideal for this kind of situation, and even though the settings aren't that precise, it's something that's easily fixed with Photoshop. But if you use the Lumix, and the colour settings are wrongly set, the colour comes out realllllyy off. And even Photoshop can't fix it well.

But the Lumix's OIS function is better than the TX1's, IMO. Sigh.

AM LISTENING TO SAKURA TAISEN MUSIC. Have not done so in a long time. This makes me very happy :D And is this silly or what - I'm listening to Takano Urara sing and I'm pretending it's Kai singing. *headdesk*

Only just heard the preview of "LAST ANGEL" and oh em gee, this only sets in stone my preference for their Japanese releases over their Korean ones. Yes, there are Korean songs of theirs that I love e.g. "Free Your Mind", "Tri-Angle", "Dangerous Mind" etc. but seeing as I got to know them through their Japanese releases... well. And seriously, "LAST ANGEL" is damn awesome. Oh, LOVE.

Just give in and buy DBSK's "Forever Love" single when it comes out. Pre-order it, more like. Because it's got the Japanese version of Harudal and that song is so pretty and how I wish they had done a Japanese version of All in Vain. Though it'd sound weird.

So, yeah, note to self: Pre-order the single. And maybe pre-order their "LAST ANGEL" single because their collaborations are always worth listening to. Plus, it's Koda Kumi they're collaborating with this time, and she's awesome. At least, that's what I personally feel. Oooh, I can't wait to watch the PV :D ORDERED. Bye My Money!

Maybe this means they'll actually get to perform on Music Station? Too many Johnnys on there, omg. That's one of the reasons why I keep switching to MTV Taiwan Japan/Korea hour instead of focusing on MS. Though they have pretty good performances, I admit, but... Sigh.

When will my dearest Lead release something that is NOT their concert DVD? Like A NEW ALBUM? ;_; I don't think w-inds. or Lead will ever get to perform on Music Station because of the Johnnys on there. Oh well, at least Keitachi got to perform his solo on there. [EDIT] ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST FOR MY VECTORS! *is so happy she could fly* I was going through revision questions with my tutor because I've been avoiding them Vectors for yonks but I forced myself to because they're super important so... I thought I'd be totally "huh?" like the way Kibum looks in the Don't Don PV but YESSS I actually understood! And I can do Vectors!

Oh yesssss. I feel so much better now. I was freaking out before tuition because of my testimonial and the ever-present "should I study now or concentrate on my application" question was bugging me but now I feel happier.

Back to my testimonial. My CCA portion contains 3 paragraphs. My CIP portion has around 5-6 paragraphs. My academic and attitude towards studies portion? *checks* ... Around 8 sentences.

WTH? SMU just sent me a letter inviting me to enter their School of Information Systems. It sounds really good except that I'm already applying elsewhere. Most people I know are applying to a few universities. Should I even give myself a backup option? I find that making myself focus on one only gives me the "I MUST!" mentality but...

A bit of today at KAP was spent enlightening Jonathan on why he should continue reading Tsubasa and not stop right after the Shura arc. It was also spent on telling him that X is made of the most confusing stuff ever.

Around 5 minutes was spent telling Jonathan and Chadin why Prince of Tennis defies all laws of physics - JUST BECAUSE IT CAN. And the two of them spent around 20 minutes discussing Yu-Gi-Oh! in great detail, and them convincing me to continue reading beyond volume 13.

Oh man, I love these boys. WTF is Eeteuk wearing, though? It looks like a pink oversized bean bag. Not as bad as Yunho's grandma cardigan but comes close. Ooh, love the dancing. And HAHA they all imitated Siwon's move during his solo. Or maybe Siwon got the move from Yunho. Lol at Eunhyuk tearing off his beanie so he could do the headbanging thing properly. And LOL at Eeteuk doing his rap HAHA. The ending too, when Shindong yells "SUPER JUNIOR!" straight into the camera. And Eeteuk's all "shaddap I gotta go back to hosting the radio show."

And again. They really do love dancing, don't they <3 LOL at 2:15 XD Argh leave the violin solo to Henry! Is that a briefcase Eeteuk is using in place of a violin?! Yes Eeteuk, that's what you get when you try to do the violin solo - ouch on the knees.

Need manga to read. Must remember to buy MAR Omega 3 the next time I go down to Kinokuniya - which will probably be weeks away. Must read Spiral -Alive-!! And when is CY going to release Tsubasa? Guh I should've bought the Tong Li released manga in the first place.

Just found out from Jonathan that the author of the A Wheel of Time series, Robert Jordan, passed away on September the 16th, 2007 this year.

There's so much running through my head right now. Memorable scenes from the book, especially the ending of The Great Hunt, and the last few chapters of The Shadow Rising, which were my absolute favourites. WoT is one of the only two series I read, the other being Keys to the Kingdom. I remember first reading it in secondary two, by just randomly picking the first book off my local bookstore's shelf in a bid to pull my English back to its original level. I didn't expect to enjoy the book as much as I did.

As much as I love the series and anticipate each book release, I can't say I was an in-depth reader who analyzed every scenario and clue to predict and speculate and discuss future happenings. That's why I wondered if I should post this in the first place - something along the lines of I'm not even a extremely knowledgeable reader, do I have the right to post this but heck it. He was one of the two authors whose writing I loved, he was a remarkable writer and his series captivated me thoroughly. I respect him very much.

Aren't they going to rest at all? Sure, their popularity in Japan is super encouraging (even though most fans are aunties) and they've been featured on Arena 37 at least 2089375027509 times... but go back to Korea and rest for a while? Please?

This brings the total number of singles released this year to be... EIGHT. EIGHT BLEEPING SINGLES. Don't normal artists only release around 3-4 singles a year? Are the producers just making full use of the fact that their popularity in Japan is growing fast? I think the final straw will be if they suddenly announce "THIRD ALBUM TO BE RELEASED 31ST DECEMBER 2007!" or something like that.

I really hope that DBSK gets enough rest. Jaejoong fainting while on tour was enough of a shock. Stay healthy! D:

seasons of love: four years of memories

Long overdue last-day-of-school photos. Ah, making posts with photos is tiring yet fun. A bit of a mindless task, really, copying the link and pasting it over...

jeckalz made a 04IP video for the entire cohort to watch. (What time did you sleep? XD) Brought back many wonderful memories. I didn't think I'd be affected, but I started tearing halfway through the first song.

We've finally come to our final hurdle. In IP1, we would relax at the end of the year and think, "Hey, we've got three more years." In IP2, we relaxed because we had two more years to enjoy. And now, there's scarcely enough time left.

Despite the fact that the last month will be spent studying, it's good time spent with long-time friends that we hardly knew four years ago, yet are so familiar with now. I only got to know a few of you better this year - Cat and Elizabeth, though last year we were already chatting about fandoms and Hirai Ken; the entire group of GP back-row hoggers, because we shared one common goal that we would never fail to achieve; Wen Qian, my fellow Chem class fangirl <3; Clara, good ol' Econs classmate and I remember you rushed down to school after flying back from America that very morning; many, many others.

I remember the Bernoulli class back-row four! Me, Wensi, Tessa and Yixuan. Not to forget the PE class, united in our games. NJC PW Group 018 Infinity! IP4 Maplers! See photo below. All the guild outings to weird random places where almost everyone got killed.

And more.

It's not sinking in yet, really, that we're going to leave soon, that all this will come to an end. I wanted last Friday to just freeze in time, just before school ends and just before the 'A' levels come around. After the 'A's, I think it will really hit me that my NJC life is drawing to a close.

Today started out really badly. Woke up at 8.30am, took the bus to school and slowly trudged up the hill because the side gate was closed. Went to the library, wrote two lines of my testimonial, then gave up and tried to do Computing. Gave up again because nothing was going in, went down for lunch with two different groups of people at different times. Left around one because my cramps got really bad and I couldn't stand properly.

So, I took a taxi home and immediately jumped into my bed and slept... until a package arrived for me at around 3pm.

Super Junior's second album Don't Don has one of the prettiest packaging I've ever seen. I loved Lead's 4 packaging, I loved DBSK's "O" version D repackaged, and I love this one too.

The album cover features a different member for each copy. They do, however, provide all thirteen photos so you can change the cover to whoever you like. Mine had Siwon, initially, but I changed it to Eunhyuk soon after. Nyeh. I mean, okay, Siwon, that photo is a bit traumatizing... (see top right)

Attack on the Pin-up Boys! Cheesy movie title, but it's so like them. At least it's better than "Series of Pretty Boy Terror Events". I ordered the limited edition, so there's a special gift that comes with it:

This thing contains -

A special CD containing the soundtrack for the movie; a set of photos featuring every member (except Kyuhyun, sadly, since he was still hospitalized); a shiny thing that doesn't have much use but it's got Hyukkie on it so I'm not complaining; a poster with the autographs of every member except the youngest.

And because I took photos when it arrived, yet didn't find a chance to put them up...

Much better packaging than their Heart, Mind and Soul DVD. I'm not sure why I got a Yoochun postcard with the DVD, maybe mine is first press or something? Anyway, I do wish I got Yunho, but Yoochun is good too. And seeing as I kept getting Yunho when I ordered their Lovin' You single, AND the the trivia cards at the Budoukan live... time to balance out the collection? Haha.

Photos from the DVD booklet. Ah, Jaejoong-sshi. <3 I especially love the one of them taken when they were singing "Lovin' you" in the encore. But the best HAS to be the last one, taken when they were singing "Hello again" and waving to everyone.

Ah, good times... I'm not going to post a full-out review on Attack of the Pin-up Boys because it'd take too long, but the three who look best in the movie IMO are Yehsung, Donghae and Heechul. Fear my biasedness, rawr. Screencaps later, maybe. *cackles*
